   What a sad thing that people would be so ignorant and hateful. Yet this family met the hate with dignity and a very classy response. Bravo to them, and shame on you to the one’s who spray painted messages of hate.

     Yes, these kind of disgraceful acts on the part of some human beings offer other human beings the opportunity to respond with grace and class, as you say.
