The entire message was a rallying cry for social democracy. I am encouraged at the audience response though a few must have been squirming in their seats not knowing whether to join in the applause or not.
Yes, I hope it reminds Canadians of our honorable legacy of social democracy, of which the medicare of which we are so proud is a legacy.
