It has to be the most expensive music video ever made. The Russian cab fee for Hadfield on itself was $48 million. I’d like to see what could the ISS budget do if rather invested in green energy…
Yes you’re right, the priorities of the space program are questionable. The possibilities that will be released when that money is redirected is mind-boggling.
We did get a lot of cool innovation from the gigantic amount spent into space programs over the last 50 years but I doubt it was nearly cost-efficient. Too bad too how the carbon emissions exploded during the same period. We suck at priorities.
